Job Summary
Conduct in-home care services for aging adults in New Castle and Wilmington, DE, after completing a two-week free HHA certification course. Perform patient lifting, positioning, and transfers while adhering to compassionate, respectful standards. Complete assigned homework and attend weekly open labs to prepare for skills competency sign-offs and tests. Work full- or part-time shifts following orientation and behavioral health training. No sponsorship provided; criminal record check and physical required.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States (we are not able to provide sponsorship)
- Criminal record check which meets hiring guidelines
- Physical and 2-Step PPD
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patient
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellency and a good attitude
