ENTRY LEVEL - Fish Processor on Vessel - $2,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Summary
Process fish through factory onboard vessel by sorting species, operating equipment, and head/gutting product. Pack fish into pans, case-up, label bags, and load/unload plate freezers while maintaining HACCP quality standards. Clean factory throughout the trip and perform end-of-trip cleanup. Offload product and back load supplies onto the vessel. Participate in safety meetings, drills, and training. Work 16 hours daily, 7 days a week, in temperatures of -20 to -30 degrees. United States Seafoods operates commercial fishing factory trawlers out of Alaska. Crewshare compensation is based on the percentage of the catch value.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a physically demanding job
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have full use of both hands
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs, and push/ pull 0 – 50+ lbs
- Must be able to do repetitive work for long hours in a cold and wet environment (16 Hours per day, 7 days a week)
- Must be able to work in temperatures of -20 to -30 degrees with proper equipment
- Must be able to live and work in tight and close quarters shared with others
- Must be able to climb in and out of bunk beds 50 inches high
