Job Summary
Entry-level deckhands responsible for the safety, maintenance, and operations of the vessel and cargo in various weather conditions, requiring physical strength and adherence to safety regulations. Must have or be able to obtain TWIC and pass drug tests.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess or ability to possess Transportation Worker's Identification Card (TWIC)
- Pass pre-employment drug test and submit to random DOT testing requirements
- Pass pre-employment physical
- Strictly follow all CTC policies, as well as adhere to USCG and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar position within the marine transportation industry
- Prior experience in a safety sensitive position
Additional Requirements
- Must live within 1 hour of specified harbor locations
