Job Summary
Entry-level Environmental Scientist to support ERG water-related projects focusing on drinking water and water quality programs, regulations, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include assisting with research, data collection and analysis, preparing products for technical and non-technical audiences, supporting NEPA-related environmental planning reviews (EA/CATEX), contributing to regulatory compliance efforts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and assisting with project coordination, administrative tasks, proposals, and business development. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science (or related field) and 0-3 years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a basic understanding of environmental regulations; the role is suitable for recent graduates or early career professionals interested in water resources and the utility sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related discipline
- 0-3 years of relevant academic or professional experience
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
