Job Summary
Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with process manufacturing equipment. Architect solutions using database, AI, and user interface tools while providing clients with real-time, actionable process information. Travel to client plants to assess existing systems, document connected equipment, and use P&ID and I/O lists to define control schemes. Network controllers, HMIs, and field instruments to deliver fully integrated control systems in compliance with established standards. Work within a team environment to grow into a leadership role overseeing engineers and technicians.
Required Qualifications
- College Graduate
- 2 years experience
- Degree in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, Controls, or Systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects
- Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Relevant Co-op experience
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Understanding of Process or Manufacturing Systems
