Entry-level Electrical Engineer

Entry-level Electrical Engineer at NELSON to assist in developing electrical power generation, distribution, protection, and related control systems. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings and documents (equipment location plans, interconnect wiring diagrams, wiring schematics, cable and tray layouts, equipment supports, cable schedules, lighting), developing electrical models/reports using SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, PLS-CAD, and AmpCalc, and collaborating with clients and vendors. The role involves learning from and taking guidance from other engineers, and may require travel and offshore facility visits with the ability to obtain a TWIC card. The position supports Work From Home benefits but is located in New Orleans, LA. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, be professional and detail-oriented, and be willing to pursue professional engineering registration.
