Job Summary
Entry-level Dryer Aide in LP Building Solutions' OSB manufacturing facility. Responsible for assisting the operation of the drying process, including cleaning and maintaining bark burner, dryers, dry bins, wood burner, and fuel areas; inspecting Bark Burner and Thermal Oil Heating and transferring system; assisting with managing reclaimed processed wood and fuel; addressing dryer process upsets; performing sampling for dryer moisture verification and Bark fuel moisture; collecting gas usage per shift; and performing duties safely per rules and regulations. Requires knowledge of basic equipment operation, general maintenance skills, and ability to read safety regulations; high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 3–6 months manufacturing experience encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3–6 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of simple equipment operation
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
