Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Class 8 day cab and trailer fleets. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems, while addressing aftertreatment system issues, performing regens, and changing filters. Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime by adhering to all safety protocols and DOT compliance standards. Requires 3+ years of heavy-duty truck experience, two ASE certifications within six months, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay, overtime, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and tool allowances.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals
- Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics
- A valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance (lifting, bending, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- A solid attendance record and punctuality
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to pass a complete background check
- Must pass a drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable with MIG welding
- T-series ASE Certifications
