Job Summary
Provide friendly, professional in-person customer support at the Parkersburg Memorial Bridge facility office. Assist customers with new account setup, MOV pass tag issuance, and general inquiries while processing payments using toll operations back-office systems. Manage walk-up inquiries, complaints, and concerns with empathy, and handle incoming phone calls to resolve issues. Complete end-of-shift deposits, cash handling, and balancing reports while adhering to attendance, scheduling, and compliance requirements. This entry-level, on-site role includes paid training and requires comfort with shifts that may include weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Prior cash handling experience
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Customer-first mindset: empathetic, patient, and responsive
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Comfortable working shifts that may include weekends
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and teammates
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, tech support, inside sales, or back-office support
- Previous in-person service role (banking, retail, tolls, or government services)
- Computerized system preferred
