Job Summary
Maintain a safe working environment by performing general facility cleanup, including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips, and wood debris from lower mill floors. Assist with blow down and dust mitigation while applying good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe. Comply with all safety policies and procedures. This full-time day shift role (Tuesday–Friday, 3:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with swing shift flexibility) starts at $23.34 per hour and includes cross-training opportunities for advanced production equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Must be a team player and self-starter
- Must be willing to work day or night shift
- Must be willing to also work swing shift
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of high-school or equivalent
- Sawmill experience
