Entry Level Chemist- Package Testing

Job Summary
Conduct laboratory operations for bio/pharmaceutical ingredient and product testing, including preparing reagents, samples, and standards while adhering to GMP/GLP regulations. Review laboratory data for accuracy and generate reports using Excel and other Windows applications. Perform calculations, document observations and deviations, and maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness. Work independently or with guidance under a 4/10 schedule on the second or third shift (2pm-12am or 12am-10am), with occasional overtime as workload requires. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and no industry laboratory experience
- Authorized to work in the US INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship
- Microbiology lab skills; pipetting, microscopes, staining, plating, etc.
- Good dexterity

- Understanding of instrumentation

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second or Third Shift, Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, 2pm-12am or 12am-10am
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA
- 25% travel may be required
