Entry Level CDL A Driver

Job Summary
Drive trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods within a specific geographic territory. Load and unload products at various locations, informing customers of new products, services, and sales promotion materials while resolving complaints. Record daily sales and delivery information, obtaining customer signatures upon pickup or delivery. Comply with company policies and D.O.T. regulations. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. This role requires a valid CDL, good driving record, and availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation
- Must have a good driving record for past 39 months
- One or more years of tractor trailer/route delivery experience
- Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Close, distance, color and peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
