Entry-Level Bridge Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct basic project design through CAD drafting, perform research and write technical reports, and travel to job sites for observation. Collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on challenging projects including bridges, retaining walls, dams, and storm and traffic structures. Assist with construction engineering services, load ratings, and inspections rehabilitations. This entry-level opportunity supports upcoming civil engineering graduates with a structural emphasis who can obtain an EIT certificate within 18 months. Candidates graduating in December 2026 are strongly encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field
- Ability to obtain Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate within 18 months of employment by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- 0-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree, or in pursuit, a plus
- Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, a plus
- Experience or interest in transportation engineering and bridges
- Working collaboratively with others
