Entry Level Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and light maintenance while adhering to dealership and factory standards. Install batteries, check electrical systems, and conduct inspections on belts, filters, and air levels using gauges. Maintain a clean shop environment and ensure customer vehicles are properly cared for. Report machinery defects immediately to the supervisor and notify the service advisor of any changes to vehicle condition. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with every other Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM. This entry-level role includes comprehensive company and factory training to help technicians grow into dealership-certified professionals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a team player and able to maintain a positive working attitude and environment
- Ability to managing ones own time
- Ability to be customer focused and obsessed with providing great customer service
- Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
- Knowledge of basic math
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Inspection and emission license
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check
- Must be available for Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM and Every other Saturday 8AM-12PM
