Job Summary
Deliver in-home and community-based ABA therapy to teach communication, social, play, and everyday life skills to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Track client progress during sessions, implement behavior support plans, and ensure safety by responding calmly to challenging behaviors while lifting or assisting children and equipment up to 50 lbs. Complete documentation using electronic devices and travel reliably between assigned client locations. Maintain active engagement by sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing positions throughout the day. Requires a minimum of 60 college credits, six months of recent experience with developmental disabilities, or an active RBT certification, plus reliable transportation and smartphone access. Part-time schedule of 10–15 hours per week, four days a week after 3pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 College Credits completed OR 6-months of recent work experience with children with developmental disabilities OR an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Must meet minimum availability of 4 days a week for 4 hours a day (After 3pm)
- You'll need reliable transportation & must be comfortable driving to client sessions
- Access and ability to use a smartphone or similar device with internet services capable of capturing client session data
- Stay active throughout the day by sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, crouching, standing, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing during therapy sessions
- Bring energy, patience, and professionalism while actively engaging with children, implementing behavior support plans, and ensuring client safety by responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviors
- Lift or assist children and equipment up to 50 lbs
