Job Summary
Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation. Enter routine journal entries, bank transactions, AP bills, and credit card transactions. Execute month-end closing and reconciliation while investigating and adjusting accounting information. Reconcile bank statements and support department peers as needed. Maintain adequate accounting records and a comprehensive system of controls to ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Demonstrated ability in an accountant role
- Good business judgment and acumen
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
