Job Summary
Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation. Enter routine journal entries, bank transactions, AP bills, and credit card transactions. Conduct month-end closing, reconciliation, and bank reconciliation while investigating and correcting accounting information. Ensure reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles through a comprehensive system of controls and budgets. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting experience. Starting compensation is based on experience, with benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, and retirement savings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Demonstrated ability in an accountant role
- Good business judgment and acumen
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
