Job Summary
Entry Level Account Manager role focusing on expanding and maintaining a large client base for Medical Diagnostic Laboratories. Responsibilities include presenting new test information, up-selling and generating new revenue from existing clients, establishing positive long-term client relations, educating and training clients, coordinating solutions between the laboratory and clients, working with Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to address client concerns, monitoring client satisfaction and taking corrective action as needed, staying informed about competitors, and traveling within the coverage area and nationwide as required. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, vendor liaison abilities, and knowledge of lab testing; Medical Assistant certification or BA/BS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of successful customer service experience
- Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation
- Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
- Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
- Medical Assistant certification or Associate Degree, BA/BS preferred
