Job Summary
Entry Level Account Manager responsible for maintaining a large client base of existing customers for MDL and serving as a liaison between management and customers to resolve issues. Responsibilities include growing client base revenues through new test information and upselling, establishing positive long-term client relations, educating and training clients, coordinating solutions between laboratory and client, collaborating with Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to address client concerns and retention strategies, monitoring client satisfaction, staying informed on competitors, and traveling within the coverage area and nationwide as needed to support sales efforts. Skills and qualifications emphasize customer service experience, communication, organization, travel readiness, and familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of laboratory testing and products is preferred alongside an associate degree or Medical Assistant certification.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of successful customer service experience
- Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation
- Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
- Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
