Job Summary
Entry level to Level 2 Design Engineer responsible for preparation, design, and updating of detailed drawings for heavy equipment used in mining and aggregate industries; produce BOMs, material lists, and takeoffs for bidding; design fixturing and support automation systems; some travel may be required; reports to Engineering Department Team Lead; requires BS in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong engineering and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Auto CAD and/or SolidWorks
- Experience in automation systems a plus
- Basic skills in word processor and spreadsheet programs
