Job Summary
Entry CNC Operator responsible for dressing and turning rolls for Rolling Mills, in a safe manner. Operate CNC lathe and grinder, select programs/tools, read prints/blueprints, and check tolerances. Load/unload bearings, coordinate with mill personnel, perform routine maintenance, and ensure clean, organized work area. Must have a CNC background with printing interpretation skills, be comfortable in a heavy manufacturing environment, and be willing to work a 3-shift rotation. Required Qualifications
- Must be a qualified CNC operator with 3-5 years machining experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read prints
- 2 or 4 year degree in CNC Programming, Machining, or related field
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used for industrial purposes
- Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, machinery, and mobile equipment
- Ability to work in varied shifts (3 shift rotation) and any days of the week
