Job Summary
Coordinate entrepreneurial activities at the Future Blue Tiger Teen Center, including teaching members software to design t-shirts and accessories, managing pop-up sales events, and guiding students through budgeting and revenue tracking. Supervise teen members during all activities to ensure safety and adherence to protocols while overseeing equipment and resources for weekly club operations. Complete necessary paperwork for inventories, session plans, and attendance records, and represent the Boys & Girls Club as a garden ambassador to local organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Class E Driver's License
- Preferable two-year minimum of graphic design, media-making, and small business experience, including working with youth
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate above-average personal initiative
- Patience and a strong desire to impart knowledge and skills to individuals from diverse backgrounds in an unbiased manner
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated tact, insight, and leadership skills
- Effective listening skills and the ability to calmly handle crisis situations
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior challenges
- Successful collaboration with culturally diverse staff and club members
- Respect for members and their creative endeavors
