Job Summary
Entitlements Manager oversees all aspects of obtaining entitlements, plans, and permits for new residential communities. Responsibilities include coordinating with agencies, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams to achieve development approvals, preparing and submitting entitlement documents and maps, managing schedules, and supporting due diligence for potential land acquisitions. Requires five years’ experience in entitlement processes, a valid driver’s license, and strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. Regular in-person presence at project sites and offices is expected to ensure adherence to community schedules. Knowledge of local jurisdictions, development applications, and collaboration with external partners is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Five (5) years of experience in community entitlement and homebuilding process
- Valid driver’s license
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and writing capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines
- In-person attendance at job sites and offices as essential
