Job Summary
Entitlement Specialist responsible for client-centered support with linkage to benefits, education and referrals (SOAR). Duties include teaching government benefit application procedures through groups, trainings and 1:1, staying current on system changes, making referrals to SSA/HRA, completing SOAR applications, reconciling beneficiary accounts and acting as liaison with SSA as representative payee, maintaining records and conducting monthly QA of benefits in Awards, assisting with crisis intervention, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing regular access to benefits like health insurance, paid time off, and additional program supports.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Entitlement experience required (Welfare, Medicaid, Veterans, etc.)
