Research and write short- and long-form entertainment stories covering American reality TV, celebrity gossip, and pop culture trends for a Western audience. Track real-time viral moments and social media chatter to pitch and publish timely content, maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm and meeting daily deadlines. Collaborate with editors to refine and fact-check copy, ensuring accuracy and readability while delivering engaging, conversational tone pieces tailored for a digital-first readership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of writing experience in digital media, entertainment journalism, or content creation
- A strong passion for Western celebrity culture, reality TV, and Hollywood news
- Excellent command of English grammar, sentence structure, and headline writing
- Comfortable working with fast turnarounds and under minimal supervision
- Ability to pitch fresh ideas and build stories that resonate with global readers
- Shift timings- 6 pm - 3 am, 5 days week
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience writing for a U.S.-based or Western audience
- Familiarity with platforms like TMZ, E! News, Page Six, or BuzzFeed Celeb
- Basic understanding of SEO
