Job Summary
Create, support and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, with a specific focus on the entertainment and media categories. As a key management support role, assist the Store Management team with storewide objectives. Responsibilities include achieving sales and profitability targets for the store, ensuring all Media & Entertainment department activities meet compliance and legislative standards with emphasis on Safety and in-store process and incident reporting, collaborating with the team to deliver a positive experience for both instore and online customers, maintaining pricing integrity, cross-training and developing sales team members on all aspects of Media & Entertainment products and services, ensuring all sales activities meet compliance standards (including CGA where applicable), contributing to financial performance through inventory management and loss prevention, supporting daily operational activities, and continuously improving skills through available online platforms and industry trend awareness.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years retail operations experience
- Demonstrated experience overseeing / coordinating the activities of team
