Job Summary
Operate a light board, audio console, and special effects equipment for shows and special events in the park. Execute cues as set by Production Staff and Full Time Management without deviation. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance for sound systems, lighting fixtures, and other technical components. Navigate scenic elements in dark, restrictive spaces while climbing ladders and working at heights exceeding 35 feet. Assist with rehearsals, manage the house before and after shows, and maintain a clean atmosphere by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning storage areas. Provide training for new personnel and adhere to all park policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Age: 18
- Knowledge of technical theater, including but not limited to: theater safety, audio and lighting systems, special effects, maintenance and repair
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the length of shift
- Must be able to work with ladders, scaffolding or lifts
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
