Job Summary
The Enterprise-Wide Director of Breast Surgery will lead and grow a multidisciplinary breast surgery program within one of the largest academic health systems. This role requires maintaining an active clinical practice while standardizing surgical care and fostering collaboration and excellence. The position involves overseeing the clinical trials portfolio, mentoring faculty, and working with leadership to define program goals and drive recruitment and faculty development. Candidates must possess a residency in General Surgery, fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology, board certification, and at least 7 years of clinical experience in breast surgical oncology.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology
- Board Certification in General Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- At least 7 years of clinical experience in breast surgical oncology
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an academic or large health system

- Track record of involvement in clinical trials or translational research
- National reputation for excellence in clinical care
- Experience in academic leadership
