Job Summary
Support TO-005, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) by overseeing planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. Perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition while collaborating with the Product Owner and stakeholders. Facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos alongside the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers. Act as an expert liaison between customers and the development team to manage expectations and articulate intricate technical details to various audiences. This role requires a Top-Secret/SCI polygraph clearance and partial telework availability.
Required Qualifications
- A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Four additional years' software engineering experience
- Master's degree (substitutable for two years' experience)
- Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful microservices
- Familiarity with Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
- Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
- Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
- Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Desired Qualifications
- Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
- Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
