Job Summary
Enterprise Systems Engineer responsible for hands-on administration and lifecycle automation of LogicGate’s cloud infrastructure, designing integrations, and securing our endpoint fleet to drive operational efficiency. You will translate technical concepts into executive-ready reports, collaborate across InfoSec and multiple departments, and support HQ technology operations in a hybrid Chicago-based environment. Key focus areas include endpoint management (Jamf), identity services (Okta), SaaS stack integrations, zero-trust controls (Zscaler), automated user provisioning (Paylocity sync), RBAC, SSO/MFA, and secure authentication architectures (SAML/SCIM/JIT/OAuth), with experience across AWS VDI and GCP. Strong scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Okta Workflows) and a demonstrated ability to implement AI-powered productivity solutions while maintaining governance and security. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and aligns with a hybrid work setup in Chicago with potential remote opportunities within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or systems engineering with hands-on administration of enterprise cloud environments
- Okta Certified Professional or Administrator designation with expertise in SSO, MFA, and directory integrations
- Experience with macOS and Jamf MDM fleet management at scale
- Ability to build logic-driven integrations using tools like Okta Workflows or APIs
- Interest or hands-on experience with AI productivity tools to optimize code output and troubleshooting
