Job Summary
Collaborate with Strategic Account Executives to drive adoption of Abbott Diabetes Care continuous glucose monitoring solutions within Northwest territory health systems. Conduct workflow analyses, consult on implementation changes, and partner with internal specialists to refine solutions across customer facilities. Facilitate change management, ensure proper testing, and establish training plans for patient onboarding while defining desired outcomes and KPIs. Serve as an active member of professional IT and EMR implementation organizations to share lessons learned. This filed-based role requires 50% to 75% travel and supports the global Diabetes Care Division's mission to improve health outcomes through accurate glucose monitoring technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of work experience in one or more of the following: clinical consulting, field sales, product marketing, systems analysis, agency or medical/clinical experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
- Excellent problem solving, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Process management skills, including end-to-end mapping and systems analyses abilities
- Professionalism when interacting with customers
- Ability to prepare and deliver effective oral and written communications
- Skilled in crafting and executing change management actions and communications
- Proven ability to manage both projects and time
- Prior clinical training and adult education delivery experience
- Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight 50% - 75%
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with experience in a hospital and/or outpatient setting
- Experience developing or consulting on clinical protocols and / or workflows
- Diabetes disease area knowledge and experience with related products (e.g. glucose monitors, pumps)
