Job Summary
Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies for enterprise customers. Translate complex requirements into scalable Dash0 implementations and execute Proofs of Concept to validate technical capabilities. Deliver engaging technical demos and collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred solution. Provide architecture guidance on telemetry data modeling and maintain reusable demo environments and reference architectures. Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities based on technical insights. This role bridges product and customer outcomes, requiring business travel, and offers a competitive salary with meaningful equity participation in a high-growth venture-backed startup.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value
- Collaborative mindset
- US-based remote role with business travel required
- This role is can be remote and can be based anywhere on the West Coast
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) for collaboration and pipeline visibility
- Contributions to technical content — blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation
- Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment
