Job Summary
Architect and deliver secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions for the HHS OIG, leading the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure and application platforms. Develop technical roadmaps, drive proofs of concepts and MVPs, and ensure long-term viability of cloud migrations within a multi-cloud hybrid environment. Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to meet program goals while maintaining compliance with federal standards (FedRAMP, NIST). This HYBRID role is based in Northern Virginia or Maryland, with up to 20% government-site work and in-office presence 3x/week. Requires US citizenship, Public Trust clearance, and 8+ years (10+ preferred) of experience in cloud architecture and related domains. Candidates should possess AI and data analytics expertise and AWS certifications, with strong leadership and communication skills for cross-team delivery.
Required Qualifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience with AI and Data Analytics (AWS ML/Data Analytics certifications helpful)
- Experience delivering cloud infrastructure and application platforms across large-scale, multi-team projects
- Experience across Core Infrastructure, Application Development, Data and Analytics, and Low Code/No Code
- Hybrid work location in Northern Virginia or Maryland; 3x in-office per week; travel up to 25%
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST guidelines
- Security clearance requirements as applicable
