Job Summary
Develop and maintain enterprise software projects by creating new features, modifying existing code, and performing rigorous quality checks. Execute unit testing strategies and ensure adherence to object-oriented programming best practices while collaborating with teammates and customers on time-critical deliverables. Utilize C#, .NET, Entity Framework Core, and relational databases to build web-based applications, leveraging version control systems throughout the software development life cycle. This role involves working within an established team in a supportive, woman-owned environment with remote options available for eligible states.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent (2+ years) experience
- A passion for writing clean and easily maintainable code
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, Entity Framework Core
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and the best practices surrounding OOP
- Knowledge of unit testing strategies
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Understanding of web-based application development technologies
- Basic understanding of source/version control
- Basic understanding of quality control in the software development life cycle
- Ability to work independently or in a small team on time-critical projects
- Ability to interact with colleagues and customers in a professional manner
