Job Summary

Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases, including Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interact with the Government regarding technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Maintain and produce documentation such as slide decks, standard operating procedures, and dataflow architectures, while ensuring online pages remain current. Run Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings, assist with the User Helpdesk by handling access requests and bug reports, and facilitate release end user testing. Maintain capabilities compliance and communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. A Bachelor's degree plus ten years of systems engineering experience is required, along with a Top-Secret/SCI polygraph clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Eight (8) years of systems engineering experience
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Eight (8) years of systems engineering experience
  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288
  • Maintain/produce documentation including slide decks as requested by the customer, standard operating procedures, project overview and dataflow/architecture
  • Maintaining online documentation by archiving out of date pages and ensuring all other pages are current
  • Stay current and maintain capabilities compliance
  • Run the Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings
  • Assist with User Helpdesk by handling access requests, bug reports and communicate with developer leads when feature requests are received
  • Facilitate release End user testing
