Job Summary
Develop and maintain signal processing software for detectors, demodulators, and protocol processors, designing algorithms to meet strict timing and resource constraints. Debug existing code, resolve defect reports, and integrate components into new systems or operating environments. Lead software development teams, ensuring adherence to design requirements and process standards while reviewing and documenting test results. Confer with system engineers to derive requirements, analyze RF processing systems, and implement improvements to documentation and development processes using Python, C++, and Linux.
Required Qualifications
- Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Seven (7) years' experience as a SSWE or equivalent on a project with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF)
- Experience with Fourier transforms
- Experience with filtering
- Experience with communications theory
- Experience with digital modulation
- Experience with error control coding
- Experience with signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT)
- Experience with digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation)
- Advanced understanding of the Linux operating system
Desired Qualifications
- Software defined radio architecture (e.g. SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU)
- Commercial wireless standards geolocation techniques
- Software configuration management tools (e.g. GIT, Clearquest, Trac, or Subversion)
- Python
