Job Summary
Enterprise Sales Executives at Datadog are responsible for targeting and closing new business with strategic customers. Key responsibilities include prospecting into large Fortune 1000 companies, building comprehensive relationship maps, negotiating pricing, managing customer expectations, and ensuring precise forecasting. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of closing experience, a proven sales track record, and the ability to work independently to build a sales pipeline. Experience within the tech sector and selling to large enterprises is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of closing experience in sales
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding direct sales goals of 1M+
- Ability to demonstrate a methodology to prospect and build pipeline
- Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
- Excellent negotiation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or IT infrastructure
- Treaching skills in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC
