Enterprise Risk Testing Analyst - Consumer

Job Summary

Execute transaction testing activities, analyze results, and document findings to ensure controls are operationally effective. Maintain advanced knowledge of rules, regulations, and Regions products to evaluate if systems perform as designed against regulatory requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert in compliance and operational risk, assisting with monitoring program administration and reporting on control effectiveness. Draft summaries of testing results for distribution to key stakeholders and collaborate on executing the testing program. Identify and implement automated testing and data analytics activities while mentoring junior associates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Quality Assurance/Control, Audit, or other related risk function specific to a line of business or program
  • High School Diploma and nine (9) years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Quality Assurance/Control, Audit, or other related risk function specific to a line of business or program

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as: Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as: Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA)
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as: Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as: Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
  • Ability to mentor and train junior associates
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
  • Ability to work independently, with limited guidance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
