Job Summary
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization's operations, finances, and reputation by conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses. Facilitate risk workshops to gather intelligence, develop regular Key Risk Indicator reports, and validate the effectiveness of established controls. Support the deployment of the new Risk Management System and oversee risk event processes from review to resolution. Collaborate with business units to ensure timely completion of risk assessments and actions while providing independent review and challenge. Leverage automation and AI to enhance efficiency and reduce risk where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in the financial services sector
- Strong understanding of industry best practices relating to Risk or Second Line activities
- Educated to degree level
- Holding a relevant compliance qualification
- Possesses a strong work ethic
- Sound judgment
- Ability to make well-informed decisions
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comprehensive knowledge or willingness to learn about regulations
- Development embedding of an enterprise risk framework
