Job Summary
Develop and maintain the application architecture and roadmap for the enterprise payments domain, ensuring alignment with the Target State Enterprise Architecture. Design, document, and govern frameworks and platforms for the technical delivery organization while establishing standards for design leadership and stakeholder communication. Conduct product and solution evaluations across both the delivery organization and the Enterprise Architecture group to drive the adoption of architectural trends and best practices. Mentor technical delivery staff and articulate complex technical concepts to high-level management through verbal and written communication. This role supports Huntington's reinvention of banking through game-changing innovations and requires a Bachelor's degree with seven years of related experience in architecting high-availability, secure software solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience architecting software solutions with demanding requirements such as performance, high availability, reliability, security, etc.
- Understand data and system integration patterns and technologies
- Proficiency in managing large scale efforts
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and how architecture integrates with Agile development teams
- Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication
- Strong conceptual, critical thinking, technical and problem-solving skills with good attention to details
- Articulate and have the ability to meet with high level management to present and/or deliver technical documentation
