Job Summary

Define and maintain enterprise payment standards, functional requirements, and implementation guidance across business units. Interpret and translate payment network and scheme requirements into actionable business and product requirements for Card networks, ACH, NACHA, SEPA, and recurring models. Provide guidance on Merchant of Record considerations, refunds, and dispute processes. Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure payment experiences align with industry standards and network rules. Translate enterprise payments strategy into prioritized execution plans and support planning for new payment method enablement, PSP onboarding, and geographic expansion. Identify dependencies, risks, and operational impacts associated with payment initiatives. Monitor industry changes and assess impacts across enterprise platforms. Drive adoption of enterprise payment standards across business units and digital products. Lead end-to-end coordination of payment domain requirements, aligning product, engineering, operations, finance, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in payments, product management, product strategy, enterprise platforms, fintech, financial services, or related domains
  • Deep practical experience with: Card payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Deep practical experience with: ACH, NACHA, and alternative bank payment rails
  • Deep practical experience with: Payment processing and lifecycle management
  • Deep practical experience with: Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
  • Deep practical experience with: Recurring and subscription payments
  • Proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, customer payment journeys, and enterprise platforms
  • Experience working across multiple teams and organizations to drive alignment and execution
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence decisions without direct authority
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent working experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Direct experience working for a PSP, payment processor, acquiring bank, fintech, or large-scale eCommerce organization
  • Experience interpreting and implementing Visa, Mastercard, NACHA, or SEPA requirements
  • Experience supporting global payment capabilities across multiple regions and markets
  • Experience with: Merchant of Record models
  • Experience with: PCI compliance and tokenization
  • Experience with: Subscription lifecycle management
  • Experience with: Payment orchestration platforms
  • Experience with: Customer billing and invoicing solutions
  • Background in product strategy, payments consulting, enterprise transformation, or payments architecture
  • Experience evaluating and recommending payment methods and payment service providers
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide adoption of standards and best practices
  • Ability to translate highly technical payment concepts into business-friendly guidance
