Job Summary
Install and troubleshoot low voltage panels, wiring and associated devices; proctor, coach, and teach junior installers; lead startup and commissioning; maintain truck stock and documentation; ensure task completion with strong communication and leadership; requires NICET certifications and driver’s license; on-call and travel with on-site duties; OSHA/HAZCOM compliance; read blueprints/schematics; extensive knowledge of enterprise intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Mastery knowledge of enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems
- Full understanding of local/national codes
- OSHA and HAZCOM regulations understanding
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, diagrams (in English)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to clear drug screening
- NICET Level II Certification (for fire alarm systems)
- Must obtain NICET Level III within 1 year (for fire alarm systems)
