Job Summary
Build and maintain MCP servers that expose data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI workflows. Develop internal APIs to enrich programmatically addressable resources and construct lightweight web apps and dashboards using Streamlit for internal processes. Create stateful applications that ensure standard operating procedures for various processes are followed in order, while developing and maintaining automated workflows and pipelines in Python. Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to a culture of technical quality. This role requires 2+ years of Python experience, 1+ years of full-stack development, and strong SQL proficiency. The position is remote within the U.S. with a base salary range of $120-125k.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Python experience
- 1+ years of full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer
Desired Qualifications
- Background in fintech, payments, or financial services
- Experience building or working with MCP servers
- Experience designing and building APIs (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
- Experience with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks
- Experience with Deterministic LLM programming (ie. LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, PostToolUse)
- Experience with OLTP databases and caching technologies
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools (ie. Airflow, Prefect, n8n)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (ie. AWS, GCP, Azure)
