Job Summary
Enterprise Data Engineer – ETL & Integration at Axiom Space focused on designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using Alteryx Server to support data warehouse integration and enterprise system connectivity. You will develop and manage production ETL workflows, perform data cleansing and transformation, and support data migration efforts across the organization. Responsibilities include expanding databases with SQL and Python, designing data models and mapping systems for data verification, cleansing, and enhancement, and developing Power BI dashboards and reports to support business stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements and coordinate data remediation activities, and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years of data engineering experience, hands-on Alteryx experience, familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Snowflake), strong SQL skills, data warehouse knowledge, Python proficiency, and experience with Power BI; Agile experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role within an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx or Alteryx Server for ETL development and workflow automation
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Snowflake is a plus
- Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries across various data sources
- Experience with data warehouse concepts and enterprise system integration
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and pipeline support
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred
