Job Summary
Enterprise Cloud Security Architect leading multicloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, shaping secure-by-design cloud and hybrid solutions. Develop and maintain enterprise security standards, cloud governance models, and multicloud reference architectures; lead architectural reviews to ensure alignment with reference architectures, security controls, and compliance frameworks. Communicate architectural direction across teams and stakeholders; maintain deep expertise in cloud security, automation, networking, and identity to influence engineering solutions. Located in Reston, VA. Must provide architecture leadership to Booz Allen’s cloud initiatives supporting Intelligence Community systems; requires extensive experience in security architecture, cloud platforms, and governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP; active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date. Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep; multicloud governance and automation concepts; and modern cybersecurity frameworks including Zero Trust and secure-by-design methodologies. Familiarity with artifacts such as reference architectures, design patterns, and decision records; ability to create realistic roadmaps for solution development and improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture or cloud security engineering
- Experience integrating cybersecurity tools in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
- Knowledge of multicloud governance and automation (AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zones, GCP Org Policies)
- Knowledge of multicloud networking, segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity
- Knowledge of cloud security controls, compliance frameworks, and security telemetry ecosystems
- Knowledge of modern cybersecurity frameworks including Zero Trust and secure-by-design methodologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph
- Associate’s degree with 5+ years IT experience, Bachelor's with 3+ years IT experience, or Master’s with 1+ years IT experience
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date
- Experience producing enterprise architecture artifacts (reference architectures, design patterns, standards)
- Nice-to-have: Multicloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Clearance: TS/SCI required
