Job Summary
Define and maintain the Automation & AI strategy and roadmap for Northside Hospital. Identify operational processes suitable for automation, AI augmentation, or workflow redesign by benchmarking opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. Partner with departments to transform manual workflows, conduct assessments of automation initiatives, and recommend prioritized projects based on quantifiable value. Sponsors approved initiatives through existing program delivery structures to eliminate repetitive tasks while maintaining awareness of current technologies and platform capabilities. Collaborate with project teams throughout execution to deliver measurable operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related technical field. (Equivalent experience may substitute.)
- Strong knowledge of automation tools, AI/ML platforms, workflow tools, RPA technology, and data analytics concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operational leaders, and technical teams
- Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies
- Ability to analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities with measurable outcomes
- Expert knowledge of hospital operations
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in automation, AI, process engineering, or related technology fields
- Certifications in automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate), AI/ML, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience leading crossfunctional automation initiatives
- Project lead or coordination experience
