Job Summary
Lead enterprise architecture planning for the Transportation Team, developing roadmaps aligned with OCIO strategy and ensuring systems remain scalable, secure, and compliant with federal standards. Maintain interoperability and cloud architecture standards while evaluating new technologies for lifecycle cost benefits. Ensure all designs adhere to NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements. This role requires a Public Trust–High Risk clearance and 10–15 years of federal IT architecture experience. The schedule is day shift Monday through Friday, with potential evening or weekend work for contract needs. Approximately 30% of the time involves travel within the Washington Metro Area.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years in enterprise IT architecture
- 5+ years in federal programs
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Experience supporting Federal Civil agencies
- Experience supporting military organizations
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract
- In-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
- TOGAF 9+ - The Open Group Architecture Framework certification
- AWS Solutions Architect certification
- Azure Architect certification
- ITIL v4 certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering
- Public Trust – High Risk clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Public Trust – High Risk clearance (reiteration)
- Availability for evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
