Job Summary
Lead strategic consulting engagements with utility customers, translating business goals into architecture direction, transition roadmaps, and actionable transformation plans. Facilitate workshops and advisory sessions with customer stakeholders at executive and operational levels to shape enterprise opportunities by connecting needs with feasible, value-driven solution approaches. Produce high-quality customer-facing deliverables, including strategic roadmaps, business requirements documents, and architecture recommendations, while engaging subject matter experts across cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure domains. Build reusable consulting methods and playbooks to raise engagement consistency. This senior individual contributor role sits within GE Vernova's global Enterprise & Solution Architecture team, supporting the mission-critical digital transformation of utility infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in architecture, consulting, solution strategy, or digital transformation roles
- Broad knowledge of enterprise architecture across business, data, application, and technology domains
- Strong familiarity with utility environments and mission-critical solutions such as Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Advanced Energy Management Systems/Energy Management Systems (AEMS/EMS), Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS), or comparable platforms
- Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and advising customer stakeholders on strategic topics
- Proven ability to produce customer-facing deliverables: roadmaps, requirements documents, architecture recommendations
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills — with an ability to connect business outcomes to technology strategy
- Based in the North American region
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT/OT (Operational Technology) integration or transformation initiatives
- Background in strategic consulting or enterprise deal shaping
- Familiarity with topics such as cloud platforms, integration architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and non-functional requirements
- Experience with enterprise data strategy, including data fabric/mesh architectures, semantic modeling (ontologies, knowledge graphs), data governance, data lineage, and data integration across IT/OT environments
- A formal education and subsequent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
