Job Summary
Define technology strategy aligned with Global Enterprise Architecture vision and evolve the Technology Capabilities Framework to accelerate product development. Create, review, and align architectural blueprints across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains while ensuring solutions balance simplicity, velocity, risk, resilience, and efficiency. Proactively engage the architecture community to facilitate cross-domain requirements and lead workshops to align diverse stakeholders on architecture solutions. Participate in the Architecture Review Board to approve new and changed solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and justified deviations. Provide executive advisory support to Regional Chief Information Officers on complex transformation, resilience, and due diligence matters. Monitor emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps to inform investment decisions, designing modular, microservice-centric, and cloud-native architectures for large-scale distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Broad, diverse, and deep understanding of technologies and vendors encompassing the full stack; ranging from traditional legacy to big data and cloud (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and regulatory requirements and architectures
- Hands on experience in modern and emerging technologies such as Big data architectures, low latency transactional processing, & event driven architectures to more modern solution architectural patterns
- Designing modular, microservice-centric architectures that support a 'build once, deploy many' deployment posture across the region
- Designing & deploying cloud native applications in both private & public cloud hosting environments
- Large scale distributed systems principles, containers, CI/CD principles, software architecture, operations & security engineering
- Familiarity with modernisation agendas (migration, tech debt, rationalisation)
