Job Summary

Design and maintain enterprise architecture to advance AHRI's mission by partnering with stakeholders, product owners, and external vendors. Identify and mitigate risks within the IT portfolio while developing a strategic roadmap aligned with organizational objectives. Establish reference architectures, standards, and development methodologies, then enforce IT standards to promote consistent technology usage. Create and maintain architectural documentation, research new technologies, and mentor development resources on relevant tech adoption. This role requires five years of hands-on experience designing Microsoft Azure solutions and knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Power Platform. Located in Arlington, VA, the position offers a salary range of $164,736 - $209,480 with full benefits including health insurance, 401k matching, and tuition assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems architecture and/or designing technology solutions
  • Minimum of five years architecting Microsoft Azure solutions
  • Progressively responsible experience in project planning, systems analysis and design, application development, and software testing techniques
  • Minimum five years of hands-on experience designing, governing, and implementing enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Power Platform, and Microsoft's security and data platforms
  • Experience establishing Azure governance frameworks, landing zones, identity architecture, cloud security controls, and operational standards in a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment
  • The work location for this position is Arlington, VA
  • Subject to supervisor approval, AHRI employees are eligible for participation in AHRI's alternate workplace program after 90 days of employment and a 90-day appraisal at a level of 'meets expectations'
